Metropolis Records once again contacted us to work on another one of their CD compilations. This time they wanted us to help them create their Metropolis Records 2002 compilation CD. They were looking for something still eye catching and appealing like the 2001 compilation, however with this CD's release date so close to the tragic events of 9/11 they wanted something a little more subtle and not as destructive as the 2001 theme. After much thought and planning we came up with this sleek high-tech design.

Metropolis's logo depicts a city skyline, so with that in mind and the fact that the company is based in Philadelphia we decided to reconstruct the logo using the Philadelphia skyline for the cover. The middle insert spread depicts a futuristic city in an almost dreamworld. The back sleeve is a simple track listing on a white background. For the CD itself, we decided to use the back CD cover design. It was originally designed to go onto a more traditional silver backing, however Metropolis opted for a white background. The back CD cover design features an artistic collage which is based off a photo of the cloudy sky.
