Metropolis Records contacted us to create their Metropolis Records 2001 compilation CD. They were looking for something eye catching, while still maintaining a theme that fits all the bands featured on their compilation. We finally decided on this target design.

The cover was designed using the Metropolis logo as a far off city in the sights of a tank or large devastating weapon of destruction. The middle insert spread depicts a wide horizon view of the city through the perspective of binoculars. The back sleeve just displays the albums track listing with a simple cloud amidst the lightning storm background. The CD itself features the main cover design. The back CD cover depicts the rubble remains of the city after it has been anihilated with a broken down Metropolis sign.
