Epic recording artist Dope contacted us to create a website to debut their upcoming album Life. They were looking for a flash site that was eye catching while catching the look and feel of Dope.

Since we did a lot of work on Dope's Life album in terms of conceptualization and artwork it made bringing the Dope vibe to the website a lot easier. Dope loved the Dope flag that we came up with for them so much that they wanted to encorporate it into the main theme of the site. We came up with using the flag as the main page of the site, as well as the navigation. The stars were the various site links to the individual sections. The main Dope logo in the middle is a link to the "Who Is Dope?" section, and the Sgt. bars on either side of the flag are links to the Dope Army section.

For the "Who Is Dope?" section Dope wanted to use their individual logos as links to each band members section of the site with each logo continuously spinning. So we set up the logos in a nice arrangement centering around frontman/band founder Edsel Dope. All the logos spun in succession with each other and when the user mouses over the logos, the logo would glow in the band members individual color. Once the user clicks on the logo of the band member they wish to see, the logo zooms into the screen while the other logos fade to black. A photo of the band member and flags featuring his logo fade from black into the page, as well as his bio information. We also used this set-up for the band members photo gallerys. For the gallerys however we replace the bios with small thumbnail links to the photos.
